In constants (Constant editor \"PLUGIN.GALLERY\") you need to specify basepath. It starts from webroot. So if your TYPO installed in subdir that dir should be included. Then in \"Foto path\" just specify path from the basepath.
Example:
1. fileadmin tree: fileadmin/Photos/AutoShow2005/
2. Set basepath: plugin.tx_lzgallery.basepath = fileadmin/ (IMPORTANT: ending slash)
3. To search for files in fileadmin/Photos/AutoShow2005:
\"Foto path\" = Photos/AutoShow2005
